An estate that looks like a southern mini mansion has listed in Kansas City, Missouri for $775,000.
It’s called the Van Noy Mansion, and the five-bedroom, three-bathroom home sits on lush, green 2.5 gated acres. It’s listed on the National Historic Registry and is considered “one of the most unique homes to be found within” the city, the listing on Zillow.com says.
The interior is just as dazzling as its elegant exterior when stepping through the front door, the photos show.
“The main elevation includes a two-story porch/veranda supported with four solid wood columns,” the listing describes. “The first floor atrium has a glass domed skylight (the second to be constructed in the U.S.), stained and leaded glass windows, hand-painted curved wall murals and classical carved oak trim and moldings.”
Other features in and around the 5,802-square-foot residence include:
Parlor
Smoking room
Library
Breakfast room
Formal dining room
Maid’s quarters
Carriage house

The house impressed fans of Friday Night Zillow, a Twitter segment that showcases delightful houses up for sale across the country.
“Maybe you could retire right now and move into this stunner of a mansion in Kansas City, Missouri!” segment creator Steven Dennis tweeted. “Just $775K! I’m officially wowed!”
“I like it. Have to hire a window washer though,” one person said.
“This house is beautiful,” another observed.
“Wow - this is located next to Swope Park and the Kansas City zoo,” someone tweeted. “If you are a runner, you can run along the zoo fences early in the morning and be “chased” by wild animals! (Which I did when living nearby... highly motivating!)“
