A woman couldn’t wait to attend a Nevada music festival she frequents yearly — but her latest experience was a little different, news outlets reported.

Cristina Celis made the trip from Santa Clarita, California, to Las Vegas for “the highlight of her year” – the Electric Daisy Carnival, FOX 5 reported.

Celis attended the festival with her boyfriend while about 32 weeks pregnant, according to Fox 5.

Celis was watching the DJ Zedd perform on May 20 when she started to feel different, KSNV reported.

“Vibing to the music, listening and then I just get like this random weird feeling,” Celis told the outlet. “So, I decided to go to first aid to get assessed. Then they transferred me to the main first aid tent.”

After being evaluated, she was sent by ambulance to the University Medical Center, according to FOX 5. Within 15 minutes after arriving, Izzabella Daisy Garcia was born six weeks early.

“We added the extra “Z” in honor for Zedd because that’s technically where she went into labor,” Celis’ boyfriend told KSNV. “We put Daisy for the Electric Daisy Carnival, so that’s why we put Daisy as her middle name.”

Zedd wanted to be part of the celebration, too.

The DJ posted on Twitter asking his followers to help locate the woman who had given birth during his show so he could offer a proper congratulations.

Now the family’s main focus is staying in Nevada until their daughter can be released in four to six weeks, according to a GoFundMe page.

“What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but not her daughter, she’s coming with us” the couple told KSNV.
